    1. Modi to address election rally in Assam

    Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address an election rally in Bokakhat on Sunday. On Saturday, he accused the Congress of openly supporting forces that are out to finish the identity of Assam tea and destroy its tea industry, at a rally in Chabua.

    2. Eyeing 2022 civic polls, Delhi BJP's executive committee discusses challenges ahead

    The second day of the executive meeting on Sunday will be inaugurated by senior BJP leader and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.

    3. Kejriwal to address Kisan Mahapanchayat in Punjab

    The AAP, in a statement, said the Kisan Mahapanchayat will be held at Anaj Mandi, Bagha Purana and Moga. AAP national convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will address the Mahapanchayat on Sunday in support of farmers protesting against the Centre's three farm laws.

    4. Sisir Adhikari may join BJP at Amit Shah's rally in Purba Medinipur

    Veteran Trinamool Congress MP Sisir Adhikari, the father of Suvendu Adhikari who has been pitted by the BJP against Mamata Banerjee, met saffron party leader Mansukh Mandviya on Saturday, raising speculation about him attending Amit Shah's rally at Egra in Purba Medinipur on Sunday.

    5. CBI arrests Uttarakhand Police SI for receiving ₹1 lakh bribe

    Hemant Khanduri posted at Dehradun Cantonment police station had allegedly demanded the bribe to give relief in an ongoing case against a Chandigarh-based taxi driver, they said. The officer will be produced before a court on Sunday.

    6. Gujarat COVID-19 vaccination drive today

    The COVID-19 vaccination drive will be held on Sunday across Gujarat in order to increase the number of people covered, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel told the State Assembly. Currently, around two lakh people are vaccinated at 2,500 centres in the State on all days except Wednesdays and Sundays, he informed the House on Saturday.
