1. Vaccine shortage in India

2. PM Narendra Modi to chair Council of Ministers meeting

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called a meeting of his full Council of Ministers on Friday amid soaring cases of COVID-19 and the dearth of medical resources as well as rising number of deaths due to the disease.

3. India receives more medical supplies from international community

Three special flights from the U.S. are expected to bring large medical supplies including oxygen-generating equipment and oxygen concentrators. Two flights are expected to arrive on Friday while the third one is set to come on May 3.
